Gotta love the gas mask laying on the bench. Hmm, looks like something I used to wear.
Matt, have you got one of those little fold up work benches that have the vise action in the middle? If you're really careful, you can clamp that polisher in it and then you wouldn't have to hold it between your knees.
Keep up the good work!! _________________

Anyways so i got home and could have polished but its friday so i decided to not polish but hit the PSU as the parts for it came in today. Polish tomorrow no doubt. So far i have just sleeved everything. Replaced the exsisting molex plugs with black plugs. I am going to change the 24pin and 4 pin connector tomorrow. These will be farely easy but a pain to get the pins out. You can see i masked some connectors off as this helps the mesh sleeve glide smoothly. Also i used the sewing needle to re-open the pins on the molex connectors. This is a must do step unless you want your pins falling out of your molex plugs. Anyways here is the update. Oh and my Cooler Master product count is 4points thus far. I will actually probably be going over point wise but thats cool. So this is a couple days worth of work due to me starting this later in the day when the goods arrived.
CM Case- 2points
CM PSU- 1point
CM 120mm Fan- 1point

Nice work due. But yea, I spotted that $20. So does keeping money laying around keep you focused or something? _________________

Well i have been rained out for the last few days. Today i managed to get in some outside time right before the sky closed up. Here is the other cage side polished. I have about four pieces left. Outlook is sunny tomorrow so they will be finished up. I am waiting on some parts to arrive. Got a few parts in so i took a picture. Anyways here is a tiny update but progress is being made. I am in the holding position it seems on the tarmac but not worried.

Hey guys just working on some last pieces etc. I will have some pictures up later tonight or tomorrow for sure. My relatives are getting ready to leave town so i am having to hang with them for a few. Yea just waiting on the etching etc.
As for the beard i kind of picked it up from my Uncle. When he has some crazy project he just lets it grow until that project is donea nd then shaves it off. Its kind of almost spiritual feeling. It feels good once you shave it off. Basically like the stress accumulates within it and you just peace it out after you are through. Dunno, just one of those things i started doing after i tryed it once.

yea, should prolly not admit this, but the pressure of some of the deadlines were under are back breaking. I have stayed up 60 hours straight getting mods done, and the time after is sort of like shock. Soaking in a tub and a shave gets you back on track.

Well today i did some more polishing which is driving me nuts. Im recharging camera battery so i can get those photos off of it. I managed to snap a couple and get them on my puter of the PSU cage zone. I added some of that sound retention foam along the top of it to keep PSU vibration not even factor into the final result. Also it just looks good. Its not even a part of the computer that you would see unless you had to change out the psu. So here are a couple photos and i will get those others up as soon as i can. Took about three hours. Once again slow and steady to keep things nice.

Well here is a large update. Seems the CM contest got pushed back so that is ok by me, and it gives me even more time to perfect this beast. Anyways i finished up the PSU sleeving, i think im going to go back as i like the new wire sleeving i have a bit more. Its just darker and i like that. Also started on the hard drive mods. They should be done within the next three days tops, maybe a lot sooner. So here are the classified pics as i don't want to give the theme away just yet. There are three parts to each hard drive. A gasket, a piece of plex, and a top plate of aluminum that has been polished to mirror. Very fun mod to say the least and you guys will be amazed when you see them finished up. Anyways here are some pictures, and if you ahve any questions just ask. All of this took approx. 7-8 hours, was a VERY long slow day. Enjoy.
^^ Its just that tab bit darker, i like that look^^
^^Heating up a torque screwdriver to push through plex as its too brittle to drill^^
