ATTENTION TO DETAIL is all I can say. Everyplace that you see and even some you can't w/out opening or moving something has the theme. Be it color, texture, images, pictures, modding, yes even the feet and case sides are webbed. If your case doesn't win then it had better be for a damn good reason.

Be it so, I believe we have yet to see the best out of you Matt. Believe Geno when he says he feels the heat, old farts like him need a fire lit under them from time to time. (HINT BFG HINT) I hope more people than just yourself and the reg's here at the BG have learned something and are inspired by the sheer drive that it takes to pull something like this off in the amount of time that has been alloted. That is something not found in many people these days.

Good luck, congrats for finishing, and I know I'm one of many looking forward to the next project. This one was over way to fast. Very Happy Razz

All work has ended and no new entries accepted. It was extended for those to refix their submission, like if they sent in not enough information or not enough pictures etc. some people...lol

Dude, just ran through your worklog, and I gotta say that is an amazing amount of work you did in a short time! I thought I was burning the candle at both ends trying to finish Mystique² in 2 1/2 months, but I now realize I was just casually fiddling with my case in comparison! lol

Great job, and I hope all that work doesn't go unnoticed, meaning I hope the voters take the time to look under the hood and come here to see what all you did.

Good luck!

ps: I can't believe you polished the entire thing! Very Happy

I have been asked to assemble a sponsored modding team as in all your modding parts (fans, lights, all water cooling etc) and any cases, laser cutting, CNC etc are provided for you. Would you be interested?

If so, PM me please

It was an awesome event. The 737 won first place in the Best Original Case category, with Su AsDu's Hornet mod coming in a very close second. I also won a bunch of stuff in the raffle later on, and then another CM Mystique case for doing their online survey! lol So it was a well worth trip down and a great way to re-introduce 737 back after the repairs. Met a lot of cool guys there, and I won't miss the Geforce LAN next year!

Sweet I am stoked that you did so well! That 737 mod is sooo clean and inovative. Not to mention you had to rebuild it after it broke! You deserved to win man. I guess it is very safe to say that you made out well in the schwag department huh? Glad you did so great and had a blast man. Hope to be seeing more of you around these parts.

NO DOUBT! Wil Harris is an awesome guy and a great writer as well! I really wanted to talk Box Gods up and i believe Wil Helped me do that. I just OWE ALL of you here a tremendous thank you, and i THANK YOU again. When i say you i mean ANYONE who posted feedback and kept me going. Big shouts to Geno also, he is a great guy and has given all of us modding junkies a home. Without BG i wouldn't be on any of these sites getting praise. So THANK all of you again!

That's because puns and play-on-words are some of "my favorite things".

Ok, how's that for word play & pun ? ... lol

So, I was just surfing the web today and came across Geno's case study of the a modding contest which sounded like interesting reading. And then when I saw your mod

... mod, that term just doesn't quite seem accurately describe the level at which you guys work ... modding is what guys like me do ... putting in a window or adding some LEDs ... or to coin Geno's Chip Foose (my idol btw) analogy, it'd be like comparing what Foose does to slapping a set of Craiger's (showing my age) on a Camaro ... what you guys do is so far beyond "modding" it's craftsmanship on a level that truly deserves a term all it's own.

Anyway, I am kinda digressing from my main reason for posting. I have visited the site several times and it always get's me inspired to do my own "real" mod ... but today was a little different than my other visits. usually I just browse through a couple articles or check out a few pics of case mods ... but after reading your work log and seeing the amount of work, creativeness & attention to detail you put into this project just blew me away ... enough that I had to register just so I could post and heap on a little more praise along with everyone else.

Sorry this post is a little long and rambling ... I think reading your log and seeing how much work you put into it actually exhausted me ... lol. There's not much if anything I can say that hasn't already been said, but truly awesome job Matt and thanks for sharing it with us all. You have truly inspired me to take some ideas I've had for a mod and do what I can to make them a reality.

You guys rock, and I'm WAY not worthy !!!
