Valve's latest editon the the HL series gets reviewed. |
It's been two days and already there are reviews up on the net for probably the most anticipated game since HL2 came out. Sure EP1 one was bad ass, but it was more or less just the appetizer for the next in line. So, I will post up what we have and you all can see if you agree. As for me, I'm still playing EP2 (just got started LATE last night) thanks to Portal sorta taking my interest first. I'm just glad I get to play and not have to worry about a review right off the bat. Half-Life 2: Episode Two review @ Techgage Half-Life 2: Episode Two @ bit-tech Half Life 2 - Episode 2 @ DH Review Big into all things Valve or Steam for that mater? Don't care at all? Got something to say? Hit the link and post it up. And there's always time for cake, since I'm alive. |

Franz: Yeah, I know its been out for about 2ish weeks now. That's usually how long I wait until I start looking at a new game. (Unless it's something like HL3, Quake 32, or Doom 9.) I have to admit, aside from the problems they had with the install number thing, it still has my interest.

Franz: I posted a sort of how-to from bit-tech about building your own Linux based server several weeks ago. Now I see it is time for round two on that project so lets get to it.

Franz: Is it just me or is DX 10 not quite doing what we thought it would? I know it is still very early in the game, but I'm a bit disappointed in the real LACK of any MAJOR change that SHOULD come with spending that amount of MONEY. I am glad to see that developers are trying to at least make some of the more popular games that we all love run in the DX 10 environment. I guess we must wait and see what the future brings.
|
